St. Margarets remembers 'Passchendaele'

This year is the 100th anniversary of the 'Battle of Passchendaele'. To commemorate this important event each week, leading up to the 'Remembrance Sunday' service on 12th November at 9.30am, a Fletton soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice is remembered.

These individual histories build a fascinating record of the Battle and conditions at the time.

Please spare a few minutes to read their history and reflect on their service and dedication.

'We will remember them'

Thankyou to everyone who donated so generously during the Harvest season. The Food Bank are constantly in need of supplies so please do not stop giving.

Each year we take part in the Heritage Open Days. This has become a major event on our calendar where visitors can find out more about their family, the church or just spend time in private thought. They usually take place at the beginning of September.
